JANET BARILLARI is a member of Venman & Co. LLC.  Ms. Barillari’s areas of specialties within the firm are Corporation, Partnership and Personal Tax Consulting, and Financial and Business Consulting.

Ms. Barillari has practiced with Venman & Co. LLC since 1987.  She was formerly associated with Ernst & Young.  She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Tax Division) and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She was a past member of the CSCPA Strategic Planning Committee, the Board of Governors, the Ethics Committee and Management of Accounting Practice Committee.  She was also the past president of the Bridgeport Area CPA Group and held two presidential terms with the Institute of Management Accounting – Bridgeport Chapter.  She received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport in 1973 and her M.S. in Taxation from the University of New Haven in 1981. 

Ms. Barillari has been involved in a variety of civic and charitable organizations.  She serves as Treasurer of Fairfield Rotary and as Treasurer of Fairfield Follies Foundation.  She is also a member of the Republican Town Committee and was Vice Chairman of the Woodbridge Board of Finance.  She is a former adjunct professor for the University of New Haven Graduate Tax Program.  Ms. Barillari is a frequent speaker for professional and civic groups including radio and television appearances on various tax topics.  

Ms. Barillari resides in Woodbridge, Connecticut with her husband, Paul D’Ostilio.
