WILLIAM R. HEANEY is a director of audit & accounting at Venman & Co. LLC.  Mr. Heaney’s areas of specialties within the firm are attest services and oversight of the firm’s quality control processes.

Mr. Heaney has been with Venman & Co., LLC since 1997.  He was formerly associated with other CPA firms, both national and midsize.  In addition, he was the manager of internal audit for an international manufacturing company.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and New York.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He received a B.S. in Economics from the State University College of New York at Oneonta and a M.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Mr. Heaney is the President of the Oxford Lions Club.  He is a past president of CSCPA Bridgeport Area Group, a former treasurer of Cub Scout Pack 60, and past president and treasurer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut.

Mr. Heaney resides in Oxford, Connecticut with his wife, Maureen, and their family.
