BERNHARD F. BRUDER is a member of Venman & Co. LLC. Mr. Bruder’s areas of specialties within the firm are accounting and auditing. His clients include manufacturing, processing and distributors, homeowner/condominium associations, not-for-profit organizations, service organizations and law firms.
Mr. Bruder has practiced with Venman & Co. LLC since 1975 and he was formerly associated with Ernst & Young. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the CSCPA Golf Tournament Committee. He is a past member of the CSCPA Board of Governors and CSCPA Committees on Quality Control Review, Relations with Colleges and Universities, Accounting Principles & Auditing Standards, Accounting and Review Services (Chairman) and the Ad-HOC Committee on Committee Structure. He received his B.A. degree in Economics from Holy Cross College, Worchester, Massachusetts in 1961 and his MBA degree in Accounting from Rutgers Graduate School of Public Accounting, Newark, New Jersey in 1962.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bruder has been involved in a variety of civic and charitable organizations. He has served as a member of the Board of Managers over the years and for the past 22 years has held the position of Finance Director for Laurel Beach Association. He is a former adjunct faculty member in Fairfield University’s Accounting Department. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fairfield Prep Alumni and an Advisor to the Finance Committee of St. Gabriel School.
Mr. Bruder resides in Milford, Connecticut with his wife, Sandra.
